  Update: As of 2018, this is closed, and a new outlet is being planned nearer to I-95. This is a must-stop place if you're in the area. We drive up from Ft Laud at least once a year. The place is unique, a celebration of all things citrus. It seems to be a small packing warehouse converted to an outlet. Apart from fresh fruit, there are samples of juice, citrus candy and ice cream, memorabilia. I admit to bias having grown up in citrus country, so to me the citrus golf balls etc. are more charm than kitsch. If the wife and I lived closer, we'd go every week.

  I am 72 years old and have ordered almost everything I buy online for the past 20 years. I have NEVER had a worse online experience with any firm or individual than Hale's. They definitely used a bait/switch tactic with me. I ordered a full box of honeybee oranges and the picture showed them being nice large oranges. The box came and 5 were half rotten, ALL of them were extremely small oranges, scrubby looking, and the taste was nothing like a honeubell. I wrote them immediately and asked for redress. That was days ago, and they never even responded! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM> NOT REPUTABLE. DR. JENKINS
